In my opinions, playing indie games is a win-win for both the developer and the content creator as the developer gets more attention to their games and the viewer being introduced a new unique game from the content creator which gets the video views. It's a symbiotic relationship!

Try playing the original, there's a reason it's been regarded as a masterpiece. Keep in mind, the gameplay and the controls are really janky, but the atmosphere, music and story are what makes it timeless. Try searching for the Enhanced Edition for PC for the best experience if you're up to making a video series for gameplay for it- as the original PS2/Xbox versions are much more expensive to get now.

If anyone is having problems opening Doom Eternal. You have to add the exe file to the allowed program list in the Windows Defender Advanced Firewall. A Google search for Doom Eternal won’t launch should point you in the right direction and more info. I had this problem a few days ago myself. I want to replay Eternal to go the lore.

Why would you ask the toxic internet what you should play?

People made many complaints with Resident Evil 2 Remake in the beginning also as many have a hard time letting go when their original game gets remade but now it's not as talked about because it's proven to good to deny. Silent Hill series was a rival to Resident Evil but they disbanded their team after SH4 and decided to focus on Pachinko and handheld games as a business decision and so Silent Hill fell by the wasteside. Silent Hill is similar to Resident Evil as it's inspired by it but instead of biology and companies it delves more into people and the human psyche. A bit like Alan Wake which was inspired by Silent Hill and Control as it has some weirdness like them but is more on the psychological side than them.

I’d be curious to hear your opinion on how you like RE8 so far? Taking into account your recent RE7 playthrough and that RE8 is considered to be a sequel to RE7 and a continuation of Ethan’s story. I can share my thoughts on RE8 at a later point if you like to hear which to me are the most polarizing aspects which make it a good/bad game. But first I’d like to know your thoughts

How do like RE8 so far? Do you enjoy it? Is this approach more or less compelling to you than RE7’s gameplay, judging by your accumulated game time to this point? It seems as if you have prepared in advance. I mean, you’re still missing and skipping quite a lot of things in your playthrough (just two little hints: shiny, blinking objects; ravens). Obviously, it’s totally up to you how you play the game and I appreciate it a lot that you’re uploading your 1st time experience onto YT split into bite sized videos. RE8 (even though it’s meant to be a sequel/continuation of the story of RE7) is quite different in terms of gameplay and coherency compared to RE7.

You certainly should adjust/change something about your settings or whatever is causing all of those loading screens for you

Those loading screens definitely have something to do with your configurations or at least anything on your end. Because on console they aren’t there. The same as with some of the animations in your RE7 playthrough (I.e. the missing water in the cutscene on your way to the Ship). Shouldn’t be all too complicated to fix, I guess

Great gamplay

The SMG pretty much is the weakest weapon in RE7, just fyi. One might think due to obtaining it this late, it has to be a use worthy weapon, though that unfortunately isn’t the case when you compare its ammo consumption with its dmg output and stopping power

28:08 In the Main House 1F in the Entry Hall (or however you want to call it) there is this tiny room in between the two staircases (leading to 2F) with a statue holding a double barrel shotgun. You can use the model shotgun to replace it with said shotgun, so the door doesn’t close behind you on pickup of it. If I remember correctly, you still need a repair kit to make it work again but it’s an early available (strong) shotgun and probably the better option to repair with the repair kit than your second repair option which, basically, is a slightly better version of your standard pistol

The upcoming ship segment isn’t the last area, though you’re definitely getting closer to the end

Your task is to get the serum that you may have to look for upstairs as you didn’t find it yet and your task is to search the Old House for it. To access the upper floor you need one of those special keys which you can find in close proximity if you leave the house through the back door of the kitchen and continue your search from there. Can’t miss it from that point and you’ll figure out what your next steps will be. Margaret isn’t killable by that point, so pumping round after round into her doesn’t get you anywhere. Also the flamethrower can be used in bursts to conserve some ammo due to the fire’s DoT dmg

Just thought about something potentially useful for you and your channel to increase visibility on YT and thus your potential viewership (and subs). Lately, I’ve watched some first time playthroughs of people (channels) I never would’ve stumbled across and watched if it weren’t for their titles they used for the videos of their playthrough series of games such as DS1/2/3, Bloodborne and Hollow Knight. (Except for maybe DS2 😅) these are all examples of amazing games that easily will leave the player with such profound impressions and memories after finishing, so that respective person will be left with desire or wish to be able to have and live through that first experience. RE definitely belongs to that category of games. Therefore, as moronic as it may sound it may be helpful for your traffic if you used some of those lesser click-bait words/phrases for your video titles. (“First time playing through XY”, “I play XY for the first time … and it’s Z”, “My first time playing through XY” and so on and so forth) I think you get what I mean. Those titles of a somewhat clickbaity nature which usually automatically attract a certain audience I’d guess most of your current viewers consist of. People who’ve played through the game and want to experience the thrills, the surprises, the cluelessness and riddles second hand again and I can tell you in that regard you’re doing a great job - doing a genuine 1st Playthrough. I hope you get my point and it doesn’t come across as an offense for that I wish you all the best for your channel and think you deserve a bigger viewership to get your channel going and therefore one maybe has to make the best use of how the YT algorithm works in the beginning if you’re dedicated. (Speaking as a layman, just a consumer)
